Amitabh Bachchan congratulates Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti Chopra is on a high.

Ever since she was honoured with the Special Jury Mention for her role in Ishaqzade at the 60th National Awards, the actress has been flooded with calls and wishes from various eminent people from the film fraternity.

A source said, "The calls have not stopped pouring in and being very particular Parineeti has made it a point to attend and thank all the callers personally."

 But the one gesture that Parineeti has yet to get over is by Amitabh Bachchan.

"Amitabh Bachchan sent across Parineeti a huge bouquet of flowers with a lovely note that was personally penned down by Mr. Bachchan himself. The message has moved her and she is touched by the veteran actor's humility. She feels that it is gestures like this that make Amitabh Bachchan the Amitabh Bachchan. It is gesture that she will cherish forever."
